    How to do Stock Investing

How to do stock investing is going to vary depending on the type of investing you want to do. There is day trading, penny stocks, swing trades and long-term investments. The video to the right explains why long-term investments can be beneficial.

Day trading involves buying and selling stock or completing a transaction (a buy/sell) within a 24-hour period. The goal, of course is to find the best way to trade stocks so you make the greatest profit. Stocks are always shifting depending on the economic climate of the country, what's happening internally within a company and more. People study for years to understand how to play the market. Day trading can be stressful. Day traders often find themselves watching their stocks obsessively, trying to determine the best time to sell.

Penny stocks are stocks invested in smaller companies, usually less than $10.00/ stock. They are often bought in large quantities and sold over short periods of time. Penny stocks could be a good place to start trading if you want to dabble without a huge financial risk on your hands.

Swing trades work by waiting for a volatile market, then buying stock when it's low and selling when the prices spike.

Long-term investment is kind of like watching a garden grow. Consider your to be money seeds and know the longer you leave them in the ground the larger they can grow.

As you can see, there are several ways to trade. How to do stock investing will differ depending on the types of stocks and the amount of money you invest.
